Remove Windshield To Prevent Wet Visibility Problem

See if your wiper switch is getting voltage in.

If it isn’t getting voltage in, trace it back to the fuse.

If it is getting voltage in, see if it puts out voltage when you cycle the switch.

If it puts out voltage when you cycle it see if it’s making it to the wiper motor.

Happy Racing!

How bout those too scared to drive without headlights in the daytime and the ones that need headlights for a little rain

Re: wiper motor issue, HELP

I know this doesn't deal with the problem from the original post but while we are on the subject of wiper motors, the washer pump is built in to the pump is it not? My wipers work but when I try to wash the windshield all I get is the wipers. It sounds like it wants to but I get nothing. Could the lines just be clogged? The car is 25 years old after all and the previous owner wasn't driving it much it just sat in his garage most of the time

redirect the hose from the pump into a can, to eliminate clogged nozzles. If still nothing, check the tiny screen at the bottom of the feed tube inside your reservoir. If still nothing, probably internal.(there "is" fluid in the tank, of course?)

Re: wiper motor issue, HELP

did the new motor come with the electronic board inside of it? I had this issue a while back and none of the replacement motors included the circuit board.

Yes of course there is fluid in the tank, that was the first thing I checked. It is dark outside now but I will try that tomorrow and see if I get anywhere. Thanks
