wont start

car turns over well but wont start. pink wire going into dizzy meters at 12.9v seems pretty good. getting fuel and timing has not changed since last started (unless it is magic timing). i have metered all of the wires, coil, (accourding to chiltons manual) and bought a new ignition module (which was what i thought it was when it tested bad at auto store). still no spark.

it is probly helpful if i say it is a accell dizzy not stock. nothing special just a cheapo accell

any help please

Car Is Cranky, Me Too !

Grab a test light (the type for testing for voltage, not a continuity tester).

Connect one lead to the coil primary
(the ignition module side not the key side) and the other lead to ground.

Crank the engine.

Does the test light flash while cranking?

Tachy Solution

That means there is a short in the tach or the wiring going to it.
