I'm having a real problem with my blinkers on my 1999 chevy camaro. My hazard lights will blink, and the the blinkers will come on when i click the bar up or down but they wont blink. Any ideas?

Re: Blinkers not working

Did you check all the yellow bulbs? In the front there are the turn signals (which are also the daylight running lights), as well as the side markers.

There might also be a different flasher module for the turn signals as opposed to the emergency flashers.

But it really sounds like a blown bulb to me.

Might try asking on a 4th gen F-body site - TGO is a 3rd gen F-body site. I happen to have a 1997 Z28 so I have a dangerous amount of 4th gen knowledge, but to really get to the heart of the matter you'd be best to check on a 4th gen board.

Re: Blinkers not working

i am not sure about a 1999 camaro . this is a 3rd gen. forum not a 4th gen . but , i believe there are 2 different flashers . 1 for turn , 1 for emer. flashers . i would check the flasher unit . good luck .

Re: Blinkers not working

In addition to my 88, I also own a 99 as well. Have you checked the rear turn signals? If the rear on mine goes out the front won't flash, they just light up and stay on with the blinker activated. Usually when this happens the turn signal indicator on the side blown will stay lit instead of flashing.

Re: Blinkers not working

A blown bulb would usually just make the indicator flash quicker. Check the flasher they are only a couple bucks.

Re: Blinkers not working

Remove your radio and behind it check the daytime running lamp module when they go bad you have no blinkers,if its not the bulbs.
