Need someone to ID this piece before i cut it off

Im trying to remove everything from my engine bay that is unnessesary. i Unplugged this and there was zero difference in the drivability of my car but i dont want to take any chances incase it is vital. it is located behind my clutch fluid resevoir in the corner of the engine bay
What is it?

Original car was a 305 TPI firebird---- Now it is a 350 carbed

Knock control- ESC-electronic spark control. this sends the signal from the Knock sensor to the ECM to reduce the timing if it hears a ping.

it may still be in the car but im sure its not in use for engine control most carb setups are stand alone so power and ground and it reads off the engine mechanically

you can toss it and it will not effect your motor
