What is the connector with 2 wires on alternator?
My volt gauge pegs out to the MAX when the connector with 2 wires is hooked up to the alternator, but when is disconnected from the alternator the gauge shows normal at 13 or 14 volts. Is the connector for? Are they needed, will the car work without them?
