wiper wiring problem
wiper wiring problem
so i just swapped a z28 tilt steering column into my sport coupe. the sport coupe didnt have a tilt wheel so i put one in.
the non-tilt column that came out had a delay setting for the wipers. the tilt column just has "high, and low" settings.
my wipers dont currently work, on the tilt column, the plug that comes from the column and hooks up to the wiring harness is slightly different due to the wiring harness being made for the delay.
how do i get around this without changing the entire wiring harness? i need wipers and i dont want to sacrifice the tilt wheel.
Any advice welcome!

Re: wiper wiring problem
Find the wiring diagrams and get a pinout of each vehicles steering column connections. Then unpin the old connector and unpin one wire at a time from the current wrong connector and repin it into this connector so that they will match.
Another option if that is the only wiring difference is to swap out that switch assembly for the delay.
