having a glitch, drivers side headlights work, but passenger side do not. not the headlights as they operate on the drivers side harness. checked fuses, there ok, also my blinkers work, but with headlights on the passenger blinker just stays on in the dash. any ideas

by the way car is a 91rs

 

This usually indicates a bad ground. I would take apart and clean every grounding connection I could find. Have you checked for power at that socket.

 

I have the same problem just with the drivers side. Did you figure out what the problem was?

 

yes one of the headlight plugs was not making proper contact. bought a replacement, plus cleaned the grounds. works just like before

 

Time to get out the multimeter and check for voltage at the plug. If you have 12+ volt then you have a bad ground..

 

where did you get the connector from? I think its either that or my light switch

 

You can buy the connector almost any Auto Store.. Just show them the one you need and they should point you to the right one

 

i was hooking up my car stereo and heard a pop the drivers side headlight dont work but the highbeams work only on the driver side and not the passanger it switches and the radio has no power checked all the fuses i could find nothing looked bad anybody have any ideas?
