whats the sending unit/switch called.90/92 z28

whats the sending unit/switch.
screwed into the front of the intake manifold coolet flow.just above the timing chain cover on the TPI Cars
dont seem to have it laying with the other parts. (lost)

it's the factry unit nothing spcl..just need another one. ill take a look in the books after work

thank you.. was just just looking it up in the book. was bugging me. i cant seem to dig it up.. could have left it in the super ram intake. as it's not with the others..who knows. looks so close to the air temp unit when in hand. and in all the pics i took. will match up plugs after work and see what one i need.. air temp or Coolant Temp Sensor.. Know im missing one of them..

(the last 2 small parts left in the intake before sending it to it's new Home)

Don't be surprised if your air-temp sensor (IAT, ACT or MAT sensor) looks identical to the CTS. Chevy decided that the best way to measure the temperature of flowing air is with a hunk of metal which measures the temperature of the surrounding mass. So they used the brass CTS on our cars for the IAT/ACT/MAT sensor. *shrug*

yes the AIR and coolent temp sending units/sensors. are the same Part# for My Car. 92 Z28 5.7

and found my other sensor..in my toolbox away from the other sensor.
with a note saying coolet sensor...LOL

when i removed all the NOS i put the air temp part with the nos.
thats why it was missing...Beer!

That is why I always recommend to drink the six-pack AFTER the work is done, not during.
