Trans Am fog light question
My drivers side fog light isn't working , I put a new bulb in and still have nothing , the passenger side works fine , so could it be a ground problem ? While I was putting a new bulb in I also installed NOS fog light glass lenses that i bought a few years ago they really look nice and clear compared to my old ones so I know that the wires are hooked up correctly just wondering where I should look first for that one bulb not working ?? again the other side works fine
Thanks
Thanks

Pull the bulb & see if you even have power going there. If not? Check to see if it is still plugged in. Follow the wires to find the plug.
IIRC, 1 fuse "controls" both sides. So if 1 side lights? Then you can rule out checking fuses.

Re: Trans Am fog light question
My point is that I already said " Check to see if it is still plugged in" which would be checking the ground.
Your statement read as if the ground was something different, like through the mounting bracket.
Since what he was already mentioned to check, which included the ground, why did you even make your statement? Checking the plug would have already included checking ground. You obviously did not know that the plug includes the bulbs ground. I simply did not see any point in your post being made, since he was already told to check it. Unless you just enjoy rewording a statement of something that was already said.

Just wanted him to know his options, that would be check for power and do a continuity check on the ground.

Which was I said about checking power at the socket. Then at the connection (are power & ground both there?). Then following the wiring on up then check the switch, etc.

Re: Trans Am fog light question
Well I got it fixed , it turns out behind the lamp housing , someone at one time (could have been me) spliced the main wire together and that wire came loose , glad it was that easy
Thanks for the tips on what to look for
