Turn Signal Question
After repairing the body work from a front end collision, I noticed that my left turn signal failed to work.
At first with headlights would blink instead of my left turn signal but that quickly ceased. My back signal light stays solid as does the left signal on the dashboard when headlights are on.
Maybe I just need to replaced the socket itself but the timing with the front end collision is a little weird
Feedback appreciated

Re: Turn Signal Question
Look for bare // broken // stripped wires & connections. Check all associated bulbs for bad filaments.
Trace turn signal wires for incorrect splicing to the headlights.
If you decide to replace the socket, find one in a U-Pull-It jy. DO NOT get the
Universal type from the parts store.

Re: Turn Signal Question
There are ground wires that come from the turn signal lamp sockets. Sounds like the one on the messed up side is missing/damaged/disconnected. The turn signal may appear to work when the headlights are off because electricity finds its way to ground by going thru the other filament (park lamp) in the turn signal bulb and then thru the headlight. When the headlights are on, this doesn't work since the filaments are a high resistance to ground when lit and 12V is present on the circuit. Check the ground wire from the lamp socket.

Re: Turn Signal Question
So after cleaning all the wires and replacing the bulb, it now lights up, however, does not flash when signal to turn left, actually at one point, I pressed down on the bulb and it started to flash....
Would this lead you to believe that this is still an electronics issue or my clicker (inside the steering column from what I understand)
Appreciate any feedback putting this sucker to bed, thanks

Re: Turn Signal Question
If your other side signal works fine, it is not a problem with the flasher under the dash.
You said that you pressed on the bulb and it started working. There's your clue. That sure seems like a bad socket. You can clean it out or you can replace it if it has broken prongs.
Hope this helps.
