I need the headlight switch retaining nut/mount

I have researched older threads about this little headlight switch retainer (part # 10003445). The older posts stated that GM still carried it. Well I've tried all day long. I can't find any dealership with it, and they all state that it's no longer available. I've tried at least a half-dozen online parts suppliers as well--same story. Does anybody know where I can order this thing and not have to pay 20 or 30 dollars on ebay for it? It's listed for about $6.00 on a few websites, but nobody actually has it in stock now. Thanks in advance.

That's probably what I am going to have to do. But unfortunately the nearest salvage yard is 30 or 40 miles away. Thanks for the reply. I've become a master at hitting the switch really fast with my hand so that the lights will turn off. LOL
