Cruise control and brake switch question

I am working on installing a TCC lockup kit. I am looking at the two switches at the brake pedal. One has 2 wires and has a vacuum hose on the back of it. I think this is the cruise control brake cut off switch. The other has 2 connectors 1 with 2 wires and the other with 3 wires. I think this is the brake switch for lights and the TCC switch.

Here is my question.....
The manual says the brake switch is a pink/black and purple wire, but it is on the cruise control switch, not the brake switch. Is it possible that the two 2 wire connectors were put on the wrong switch? They look as if they would fit, ie. same clip for the wires. I know either would work, but the cruise control switch is broken and I am not using cruise right now. The other 2 wire connector has thick light blue and orange wires, but I can't find reference for those two wires.

OK Team, Take A Brake

To find out which switch is which, press one at a time by hand, while backed up near your garage or other reflective surface which can show when the brake lights are illuminated.
