issue with high beams

First off hi i am a little new here i recently hit a poll with my 86 stock camaro all the damage seems to be purely cosmetic but last night when i started my car to move it i turned on my headlights and my high beams were on and they will not turn off now the drivers side high beam bulb was broken in the hit and was wondering if im going to have to replace the whole switch or if it could be a slight wiring problem or something else the switch clicks when i pull it toward me but nothing changes thanks in advance

Re: issue with high beams

ok so im not the brightest bulb in the pack but in short i thought my high beams where my low beams and vice versa turns out if you are missing 1 low beam it turns your high beams on 24/7 when you turn on your headlights
