speedometer help!

Engine: 5.7 v8

speedometer help!
i have a 91 firebird i swapped out the 3.1 v6 auto and put in an 86 305 carb engine backed with a t5 well it ran and drove great! however i blew it up thanks to my ignorance of hooking up a working temp guage 
well anyway i bought a 350 for it and am looking to see how the speedometer is driven on the 86 i didnt see a provision for a drive cable however thee was 2 plugs on the transmission that i have no idea what for, both are not being used but the car still ran and drove no problems i am just trying to fix it right this time around and have all my guages actually work

If you have the long tail 350 trans there are kits to install a 4L60 type VSS for your speedo.
