Upgrading Dome light to Map Light

I'm swapping out the standard dome light for the dome light/map light combo. I'm just having a little trouble with what part is the ground. The old one doesn't have any ground on the bracket but the new one does.
Is it just hook up the two wires and go for it? Just a little nervous to do that because I'm not sure what else will blow out... Hopefully just a fuse I guess

There has to be a third wire to ground. Orange is a constant hot, and white is grounded by the door jamb switch. Here's a diagram, dome light is at the top and center of the page.

Installation should be as easy as screwing it to the roof.

The old one doesn't have a ground on the bracket because it's just the courtesy light & gets it's ground from the door pins or headlight switch as Joe described. The "map light" version has a ground on the bracket - that bracket ground is only for the Map Lights. (IIRC the Orange is hot-at-all-times power for courtesy AND map lights.)

Might want to scratch the roof metal under the bracket ground to ensure good grounding,... should also test the light bulbs to see if they are dead.
