Re: dome light

Unscrew the door pins and then screw them back in place. They might not be making a good ground and turning them a few times might help. If it doesn't - pull them out and clean the terminals and wiring,.. then screw them back in. ( It's a bad spot for keeping a "clean" contact point !!! )

The courtesy "dome" light should work with the doors or the ****...... My guess is a dead bulb.

Re: dome light

Courtesy lights should have power at all times. They are operated/controlled by a "switched ground". This ground can come from the headlight switch or the door jam pins.

I can't remember if the factory lighted mirror light worked with the other courtesy lights,..... or only when the buttons are pressed. ( I always custom wire them to work with rest of the courtesy lights AND on demand )

The courtesy lights and the DOME light should be wired to work at the same time from the factory. If they don't - then you need to figure out why because something is wrong.

ORANGE wire = power at all times.
WHITE wire = switched ground.

Connect the ORANGE wire from the dome to the ORANGE wireto the courtsy,.......

Connect the WHITE wire from the dome to the WHITE wite to the courtsy,.......

Then they will operate at the same time.
