I have a 92 camaro rs with the 3.1 auto. I need to replace the O2 sensor on the y pipe but the PO has fubared the wiring. After reading I've seen the that O2 sensor is supposed to run to a purple wire and the knock sensor which would be the closest sensor if I'm correct is supposed to run to a green wire coming out of the same harness. The problem is the purple wire has been cut and spliced into what I believe is the knock sensor and the green wire is MIA. I've been following wiring diagrams with little help. I would greatly appreciate any and all suggestions or advice. I will gladly post any pics needed just let me know what will be helpful.
