WinALDL log

Had some terrible flooding and finally got the engine running by changing the IAC and MAF. Every MAF I try has different result. It still seem to be running rich a little. Can anyone tell me if these numbers are bad. I attached the logs file while running. Every sensor is new and not vacuum leaks and fuel pressure in 41psi.

Re: WinALDL log

It is a common issue with each MAF responding differently. They just don't get the calibration correct.

As for the log, make sure that there aren't any malfunction flags/codes set.

Both the INT and BLM are low, meaning that the ECM is pulling fuel to correct an rich condition. Or, the O2 sensor is bad and is reporting rich.

The TPS is too low and the IAC steps are too high. Need to do a TPS & IAC reset:

Not sure if the MAF airflow at 5 gms/sec is correct. I though it was supposed to be a tad higher (6 -7 gms/sec?).

Re: WinALDL log

Thank you for looking!! I will do the reset of both. The O2 sensor is new (AC delco) but I guess it could be off. I do get a 33 and 36 with WINALDL but the engine light is not on. I have some new relays to put on. Its really been a hair puller.

Thank you again!

Re: WinALDL log

I put the new chip in and ECM today. Replaced the MAF relays and reset the IAC and adjusted the TPS voltage some. Here is the new data.

Re: WinALDL log

Not sure its been driving me nuts. Every gasket, seal, injector, sensor and fuel regulator is new. I am having a new fuel pump put in next week anyway and having the lines checked. I have replaced everything on the TPI setup. Was restoring anyway but this has really been a treat... oh and the ECM is new... Timing is dead on with a new distributor. Unless the new 02 sensor is off...

I told the guy at the parts store a couple weeks ago if you see a fire truck headed my way I set it on fire. its actually getting better and your chip is running great.

Re: WinALDL log

The 24s would make it run alittle richer than stock. I’m not sure how much richer if it’s even noticeable or not. I have heard of guys replacing there 22s for 24s without issue or tuning for them. If you can datalog with tunerpro rt I can try to tune for them.
