Window wiper will not shut off
I'm picking up a 1992 RS on Friday, when i took it for a test drive the window wiper would turned on no problem but would not turn off until i turned off the car and rested it then it was off. Has anyone else had this problem and would getting a new turn signal switch solve the problem or what would it be? Thanks

Re: Window wiper will not shut off
Most likely the Park switch inside the wiper motor assembly,... or the motor assembly itself. ( doubt this is a lever/switch problem ) You might be able to find a replacement wiper motor - but it might be difficult to find a replacement Wiper Motor COVER. There is a very specific way that the Cover must be installed or it will get damaged........ keep that in mind !

I had that happen to my truck.
Water/moisture managed to get into the wiper motor cover/circuit board.
And wouldn't you know - it happens ....... when it is raining.

How's your search going? I was at the local wrecking yard and spotted a pretty clean 90 TBI equipped Camaro . Wiper motor and cover were still there.
I could possibly get them in the future if you are still needing any of those parts.
