Loud fast clicking from blower motor

I have a really loud Fast clicking noise from my blower motor when it’s running, and it seems like a lot of air is being pushed into the engine bay when it’s on high, any ideas?

Re: Loud fast clicking from blower motor

You may be hearing the relay for the "High" speed blower setting; clicking on and off... It may be going bad.

Or you might be hearing the blower-motor resistor assembly making noise...

It is difficult to guess without more information... Sorry.

Sounds like the squirrel cage is hitting its' surroundings.

"lot of air is being pushed into the engine bay when it’s on high"

Seems like a bad seal.

Air can be introduced into the bay anywhere around the fan flange to the evaporator housing.

With the engine off, but the blower on, see if you can feel the origin.

A smoke generator can help.

Introduce smoke at the cowl intake, then see where the smoke comes out.
