So I've searched for an hour or so and all I find are diagrams where the relay for the burn off has 4 wires, my relay has 5 wires A-E. A and D have power when the vehicle is running. E has power all time. B has ground all times. C has ignition power. Does this seem right? I thought the computer controls ground to come on right after the vehicle ignition is off. All testing during closed loop only have code 36.
So the po must have moved the wiring harness around for the burn off and the fuel pump. I tested the burn off per the troubleshooting chart and everything was working correctly. Looks like I need a new computer to fix this.
well,.the ecu worked as you said it would, but my code 36 still exists. Is the code specific to the burn off circuit? Or should I be looking in other areas also.
