Ignition wire

I'm trying to wire up a kill switch connected to my ignition does anyone know what wires I need to tap into?

vats car? if the yellow vats wires are not connected it's not starting

The pink power wire that runs to the distributor ought to do it.

Disconnect your battery. Pull your shifter cover, look inside the center console for a big purple wire. Cut it. Install a toggle switch and pull it up so that it is accessible by popping out the ash tray.

Done.
