kill switch good idea but........

hows it gonna save your rims? wouldnt a motion sensor do a better job?

No, it's not gonna save your rims. But maybe you're expecting a little too much from one protective method. Try wheel locks. Also, I don't know about where you are, but here, if you take your wheels to the local police department, they'll etch them with a mark that they can use to trace them if they ever get stolen.
It's gonna be a combination of methods that saves your car overall, as well as just being smart.

i checked out wheel locks, i overtigthened and broke em all..id rather have all 5 lugs snugged rela good, i feel safer canr snug locks up real good,,anyway a hammer and chisel will take right off

even with alarm blaring, if a determined thief wants your rims, he's gonna get them.

if you still have the stock rims on the car, their value is low and i wouldn't worry much about someone stealing them.
