Fresh Performance 355

$2000
I am selling my freshly built 355 sbc because i need money to pay for my college tuition next semester. The engine was built and fully machined at a local speed shop that does very nice work and is very well respected. I am selling the engine as a complete longblock from oil pan to valve covers. The motor only has about 1500 miles on it!!! This motor untuned in my 3800lb gta(i weight 260) with 2.73 rear gears went 12.60 in the 1/4. with a little lighter and some 3.73's or better would easily run high 11's.

350 bored .030 over (over $1000 in machining alone)
all new Clevite 77 Race rod and main bearings and freeze plugs
cast crank cut .010
pink rods w/ arp bolts
speed pro pistons with plasma rings
dart 215cc iron eagle stage 3 heads (cost $1,021.90)
cat aluminum 1.6 roller rockers
comp cam .525/.525
true dual roller

I am looking to get around $2300 for it but am also open to offers as i need money asap so cash talks. I have about $3000 in the motor and it is basically new. It is still in the car so it can be seen and driven before purchased. I live near chicago and my phone number is 847-636-3552.

Im sure i am forgeting something so just ask if you have any questions. Thanks, Tim

how many miles have you put on the motor? What year block? Everything minus the stealth ram right? How much power are the internals good for if I wanted to spray? Very interested. Im in Orlando, Florida. Willing to ship? email is guitarguy00@gmail.com

also would you say that this would be a good daily driver motor? Or is the cam too big? Horsepower rating?

The motor only has about 2000 miles on it now it is a 76 block out of a camaro. I was actually planning on spraying a 150 shot and i would hold that just fine. The cam is actually not that big at all because it is .480 but with the 1.6 rr is .525. I would have liked a bigger cam but didnt want to spend more money. I can ship it also i work at a warehouse with a couple of docks and i can strap it to a pallet if you arrange it. Thanks, Tim
