gauging interest--parting out built 89 RS--383, 9 bolt, autometers

Testing the waters here to see what kind of potential buyers I can get for these parts. I tried selling the car as-is, but no one wants it so Im pretty much forced to part at this point.

Please understand that the car is not at my house at the moment, it is at a friends house so it may take a little longer to get all the parts pulled off. PM me for shipping quotes. Depending on the situation, I might be able to cover shipping or at least pay half.

383 motor, oil pan to air cleaner (no flywheel or accecories, see sig for specs) $3000 PICK UP ONLY, will sell without air cleaner and carb for $2800

Mallory 3 port AFPR $40

MSD 6A box with all wires and Blaster II coil $100

GM Hi-Torque mini starter $100

Hedman shorties, painted black (68470) $90

Y-pipe for the Hedman 68470s, modified for true single 3" outlet $60

9 Bolt posi rear, 3.70 ratio with PBRs, new axle bearings, seals and rotors $200 caliper to caliper PICK UP ONLY

APC Racing seats, black with black logo, comes with universisal sliders $80 for both

Autometer gauge setup in custom bezel- Ultra-lite series, Tach, Mech. Speedo, Volt, Fuel Level, Water temp, oil pressure. $300

World Class T-5, $300 or sold as a sawp- in kit (trans, shifter, x-member, BH, hydraulic lines, SC, MC, fork, pedals, everything!) for $450

Hi-rise spoiler (aftermarket Z28), painted in black primer $60

Complete serp system. Came off the original LO3. Water pump, alt, PS pump, crank pulley, A/C delete pulley (sory, no compressor), brackets painted silver, and a belt to fit $125

RJS 5 point harness, camlock style, red, never installed. $100, I have 2, will sell both for $180

CE Swing out door bar kits, Ive got 2, $20 for one or $35 for both

JET electric fan switch, summit part# JET-60600 $20

Holley 600 DP (model 4776 I think), needs rebuilding $50

Flywheel--NEVER USED!! I bought it not knowing it wouldnt fit a stock T5 Bellhousing. 168-Tooth, 12.00 in. Diameter, Steel, External Balance. GM part# 10105832. Paid $200 new, will sell for $100.

Anything else on the car, let me know what you want and Ill see what I can do. PM me for more pics.

Here is a link with specs on the car, and a few pics of the motor

the bar is already installed. I could try and cut it out, but Im not sure how well that would work out. And you would still have to get the 6x6x1/8" plates

What condition is the T5? That's 383 is a lot of torque on a T5. I live in upstate SC and could be intrested in the complete swap setup.

Ive had no problems with it. I just dont launch hard or romp on it too much. Only thing wrong with is that its leaking slightly from somewhere around the top of the casing where the shift fork cover thing slides on. You could more than likely just clean up the area and put some sealer on without taking the casing apart.

I couldnt get to the car today. The shop where it's at closed up early, so Ima have to get some pics of the gauges and headers tomorrow.

ok, the guy that looked at the car last night only wants the motor. Id like to say that Im still gonna part it out, but I just got my school schedule for this quarter and Im gonna have NO time to pull that car apart. So if someone wants to make me an offer for the whole car without the motor, PM me. Most of the money I got in the car is in the motor, so I should be able to let the rolling chassis go for a decent price. I just really dont have the time to part it. Sorry guys

P.S. hey if i lived closer i would buy the whole thing. ive been thinkin bout puttin a 383 in mine but cant find the time. and man im willin to bet u can make more parting it out than selling it whole. i know it sucks to think that way but its the truth.but just let me know about that rear.
thanks,chris
