i'm VERY interested in the mini starter(LT hedder swap coming up), what advantage does the staggered bolt pattern have? what brand starter is it? how much to ship to 80234? what kind of payment you want/accept, paypal would be nice.

no advantage/disadvantage, just the mounting holes. Dunno the brand, shipping is like $18, and paypal is fine.

Interested in the water pump if it will work on a 1990 L98. Do you have a part # for it? Could you post a pic of it?

Thanks.

Re: ET Drag, stealth intake manifold, starters, radiator, driveshaft, edelbrock water

if you look, it's the holes that looks like it's filled with black stuff, the other one has a stud. If you helicoil it and epoxy the helicoil in place it should hold

mini starter is gone

Re: ET Drag, stealth intake manifold, starters, radiator, driveshaft, edelbrock water

That water pump won't work for a serpentine belt setup since it was for a v belt. The v belt spins the water pump clockwise and the serpentine spins counter clockwise. Just FYI and ttt for ya.

Offset holes are for large 14" 168 tooth flexplate / flywheel.
12 1/2 153 tooth starter is inline.

On the later blocks GM only drilled holes for one type starter/ flywheel combo whereas the early blocks had all three holes drilled and tapped.
