i have a caompete LT1 with all accessorys, complete wirning harness and computer asking $450 engine has a blown headgasket, no coolant in oil pan, car just started to smoke out the tail pipes,

 

How hard is it to swap an LT 1 from a 95 to a 92? I live in DE and was curious about what all needed to be done to swap? If not too complicated, would be interested.

 

you can find alot of info on the swap. it isnt to bad if you get all the info before you start

 

any crakcs to the heads or any thing wrong with the engine besides the head gasket? Is it a 350. pics please.

 

did the motor overheat? where in new jersey are you located?

 

i know the swap has been done before, there is a 91 rs that was a v-6 now has the lt1 set-up in it now running arround here,
there is alot of info on this board in reguards to doing the swap,

yes its a 350 , dont think so it did not run that long after the headgasket went, antifreeze was brown

car started to smoke, woman had the car towed to a shop for estimate on why the car was smoking out the tailpipe, she was told headgasket was blown,, i bought the car from the original owner to do the headgaskets on it , took off the rad cap and could watch the smoke come out the radiator and the antifreeze would stat to dribble out the tail pipe, wanted to make sure the shop was correct,i decided it was to much work for me to do and i did not have the time so i pulled the motor trans and wiring harness, complete nose and sold the car as a rolling shell,

now i just want the engine out of my garage

 

where in jersey are you exactly? north, south?
