I'm selling the old combo's camshaft out of my camaro. Was in the camaro for 300 miles and now I'm building up another forced induction combo so this is pulled. Ran great with my vortec heads and 3500 stall. Definitely a raspy cam and would be a good choice for best ET with vortec heads and 9.5:1 compression.

the springs in my vortec heads are good to .550 lift and i have 1.6rockers. could i use this cam with my exisiting valve springs? how often did u have to adjust valve lash with this cam? would i see a noticable gain over my current comp xe274 hydraulic flat cam?

 

yes it is a much larger cam than the XE274 in duration, I adjusted the lash 2 times total, it didnt really change I would imagine once an oil change would be fine, but it only takes 20 minutes so I did it 2 times after break in. It would be a gain over that cam for sure. Most XE274 combos go 12.20s or so, this one is good for a quicker ET.
