Polished TPI Plenum (Ported to TPIS LT Runners)
Polished TPI Plenum (Ported to TPIS LT Runners)
I have a polished TPI plenum which was polished by me. The porting was done by a machine shop and was to match the gasket from a set of TPIS large tube runners.
I will try and post better pictures in sunlight tomorrow.
The top is a mirror finish and the sides you can see some ripples in them. Still looks magnificent. Also the plenum was ported because I was told they don't make an aftermarket for the TPI plenum.
Check out the pictures.
Price is $300 shipped.
Also selling Brand new 30lb/hr Ford Motorsport Injectors. Those are $200 or $450 for a package deal. Payment can be through Paypal or even Google Checkout (direct credit card through Google's website).

Re: Polished TPI Plenum (Ported to TPIS LT Runners)
I'll look up the part # in about an hour and post some more pictures of it outside so you can better see the polish job. I'm not sure which plenum this is exactly. I'm not familiar with the TPI engines as much so I'll look up the part # and post as soon as I figure it out

How can this be a 90 piece but you have a 9th injector hole?
Re: Polished TPI Plenum (Ported to TPIS LT Runners)
I don't believe the hole is functional. I saw pictures of plenums from other years earlier when I did the search and each one had the hole on the side by runners.

Just for a little help iding the plenum to sell...
i've added a picture of the three plenums offered by GM.the one on the left is the 85-88 the middle one is the 89 and the right side is the 90-92 plenum.you can use the 89 plenum on a 85-88 car cause it still has the passage way in the front of the plenum.

Re: Polished TPI Plenum (Ported to TPIS LT Runners)
its pretty obvious to me that its a 90 piece.
The 85-88 plenums had the fins on top that extended closer to the tb.
89-92(like this one) had shorter fins.
The 9th. inj. was in the runner not the plenum.

Thanks guys for clearing it up. I'm not an expert with the differences in TPI systems but you guys hit the nail on the head! I appreciate the help.
Anyone interested, feel free to make an offer.
