I have a comp cams 08-423-8 factory hydraulic roller camshaft

This cam is brand new and has never been used, not even mocked up in a block. as shipped to me by comp.

I'm looking for a 07-466-8 comp LT1 cam or sell outright for $250.

 

the plastic around the cam was removed to expose the lobes and end of the cam, it was removed to the first journal and replaced, thats the most it's ever been uncovered.

I'm asking 250 shipped for a brand new in box cam that retails for 265+shipping.

 

Your trying to sell a cam 10% cheaper than summit. I dont know if you dropped it or what. Ebay has this cam for 265 shipped.

If you want to sell it, I think you need to lower your price! I would never buy for a forum at nearly new price, just me.

 

I agree with this, if you buy from a vendor you get a warranty and pay only a few dollars more. Also, you can get new at nearly the same price and be sure you have the exact match for your car. If there was a real savings more people would be interested, including me.

 

I'm not really that worried about selling it to be honest, I can probably get an RMA number from comp and exchange it for an LT1 cam that I need, then all I have to pay is a restocking fee and shipping. I'm mainly interested in a trade.

 

The cam you are looking to trade for is somewhat like a hot cam (same duration but less lift). I have a new one for trade or sale if your interested.
