Do you have any proof of the $1200 rebuild and what was done exactly?

wanab03ss>>> No, I dont have any papers on the initial trans rebuild unfortunately, I trusted what he said and paid 800 for it when I purchased it. Proof would be only in the inspection when we put the trans pack in, it was very fresh and clean inside, and of course use of it.
wannafbody>>> Shipping them usually runs 20-30, say $25 on top of price for converter. If it is less, I will send the change back with it if you want. Lemme know what you wanna do, it would be best to call if you can, (217)493-4751. Thanks.
Deal Pending on Trans, will know this weekend if it is sold or not...

89fbirdformula>>> I'd say you can go kick rocks, if you dont believe it go somewhere else. $250? go get a junk yard tranny ya shmuck.
95Cam86Roc>>> Yes I still have both convertors, which one were you interested in?
everyone>>> Prices are negotiable to a point, and I always offer money back if the stuff isn't what you want, and it will not be defective/broke/or bad, but dont be ignorant and throw out stupid offers, like cutting it in thirds, not gonna happen. You want good parts, then pay good prices.

Re: Built 700r4, Stall Converters, Stroker Rods & Pistons...
a junk yard trans is 75 bucks, WITH a gaurantee, me putting out 250 like i offered is a HUGE gamble and risk, considering i have to take your word that the trans has indeed been rebuilt, im not willing to take that risk, and i seriously doubt anybody else would be willing to risk 650 just on your word alone.
the trans being clean inside means nothing, the 4L60 i bought used for my 97 ws6 looked brand new inside, and when installed only had 1st gear.
Had you came at me differently, i might have offered a counter off if you would have been willing to gaurantee the trans to work like a 1k mile fresh built trans should...but your attitude changed all of that, and i am no longer interested, id advise others to steer clear of you as well.

Re: Built 700r4, Stall Converters, Stroker Rods & Pistons...
So you got burned before, not my fault, dont insult me and my parts, low balling someone like that. The attitude comes from ignorant people like you that throw that crap out there, you want everything for nothin, "yeah I'll take it if you give it to me". I say if that junk yard tranny is so wonderful, why havent you bought it yet, jump on that thing. Like I said, you dont believe it, then dont buy it. But you arent gonna get a 700r4 with a trans pack and stall for only 250 anywhere, unless it is junk. You get what you pay for. If you want a real good trans, then go buy one, brand new ready to go with all the bells and whistles, right off the shelf, but you best have $1500-2000. It costs 600-800 just to get one overhauled to stock. You probibly only payed 250 for that junk 4L60 too. Even if I had a paper showing all this work, how would you know that the paper went with that tranny? You wouldnt, and if you cant trust my word and buy the product, then no, I wouldnt want to do business with you anyhow. Everyone who sells stuff is probibly lying...

You do realize, that even though you CLAIM its been rebuilt, you have NO idea who did it, NO idea what parts are in it, and NO proof of it actually being done. there is a reason why you still have it.
Its not my job as a buyer to provide "proof" of what a seller claims, its your job as the seller...to PROVE to me that it is what you say it is.
This is the internet dude, i trust NO ONE! i dont know you, so why would i take your word for actually meaning something?
And i didnt lowball you, i offered you a very fair price, for a completely UNKNOWN transmission.
Here's what id be willing to do, ill pay for your fuel to get to me, and back home...i'll inspect the trans, and give you HALF your asking price up front, we install trans into the car{only takes an hour on the lift}, if everything checks out and the trans functions like you say it does, shifts good, and doesnt slip under WOT, lockup works etc etc...ill give you 600 for it.
And ps, i paid 750 for the trans, that had fresh paint out the outside, looked STUPID clean on the inside pulling the pan...and it was JUNK.
like i said, i trust NO ONE, when it comes to parts like these.

Re: Built 700r4, Stall Converters, Stroker Rods & Pistons...
you missed the boat, trans sold this morning, destined for a s10 pickup, from here in Monticello actually, sorry. Stroker rods and pistons, as well as victor JR intake gone as well to same guy.
Converters are still for sale. Also, have a good running 350 and 350th trans for sale, motor is a 88-95 style block with no mech. fuel pump boss, so electric pump goes with it, its a frame rail type pump, not in-tank. Has 85-older styler heads on it with stock intake and 750 edelbrock carb on it. Trans works great, shifts great, but I would veture to say its stock spec, I dont think it has a kit, if it does, not a very firm set one, converter is unknown, still in truck, can run and testdrive before buying, so you can see Im not lying.... Asking $700 o.b.o., flexible as always, just need it to go, truck is gonna go BBC!!! Make a REASONABLE offer... (217)493-4751, its way faster than email and junk
