305 chevy shortblock

Feel free to make an offer! The worst I can say is no!

I'm listing my 305 chevy short block for sale.

I built this engine in 2002 for use in my old 84 Camaro sport coupe. I drove that car a total of 1500 miles, then pulled the engine in 2004 to do a cam swap.

The engine has standard bore cast flat-top pistons, and is built off of a 1981 305 chevy block. It's equivalent to a 305 high output motor like you'd find in a Camaro Z28 or Monte Carlo SS

The crankshaft is the original cast crank, and is standard size. It is a 2 piece rear main seal engine.

The camshaft is Summit Racing part number 1103. The specs are 214 int./224 exh. @.050 lift with .442" int./.465" exh. lift. The cam is brand new.

The engine has a standard volume oil pump.

It's on a stand, oiled, and wrapped in a trash bag. I pull the bag every couple of months and turn it over with the crank socket and oil the cylinders and block.

I'm asking $200 for the shortblock with the engine stand.

Please call 330-240-5486. Leave a message if I do not answer. You can also reply to the ad here.

I can not ship this, but can meet anywhere from Cleveland, Ohio to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for fuel expenses. I live in Cortland, Ohio for reference.

david: i need to know...

do you need/want the engine stand? the crate would be smaller if you didn't want the stand. would save a few $$$ on the shipping.

i also need to know if this would be delivered to a business or residence.

thanks!
