I have a 305 engine that runs perfectly. It's almost a shame to take it out... but I'm committed to build my 406 and swap them out. I will be removing some brackets and maybe a pulley or two from the 305 because I'm keeping AC and I understand they bolt right up to my 406. The 305 has around 90K miles on it and had been meticulously cared for by its previous owner. It's still in the car if you would like to test drive. It runs with full compression and very smooth. I'm doing the swap in about 6 weeks. I'll consider any offer over $100.

a fella offered to trade a nice engine stand for my 305. I accepted and he went radio silent. The same offer stands for any fellow 3rd Gen'r. I pick up my 406 next week. Lets make it happen quickly. The 305 runs perfect. You can drive it if you'd like.

 

What year is it? Does it have the roller cam?

 

It's a bone stock 91 TBI that has been well maintained throughout it's life.
