Auto XRAY, auto diagnostic tool. It is an excellent scan tool that not only pulls and erases codes, but it also what all of your sensor readings are. You can, with this tool, tune your motor as fine as you care to. The tool gives you a (going from memory here) a 1-160 number, or 1-100% readout, and it tells you what number you should see. As an example, the device may say any number from 80-120 is where you need to be for your car to run right. You can tell that an 81 will let the car run, but tuning the number up to 100 would put your car at the optimal level for maximum performance. You get 119 results when you run the scan. Most are off or on detections, but there are many that give you a numerical feedback.You will be able to tell what your computer sees. If you are having trouble with your car, this may be just what you need to see what the problem is. Maybe your computer thinks the Wastegate Bypass is on when its actually off. With this tool you see what the computer sees. Invaluable right? The tool is currently configured for thirdgen Camaro/Firebird (and many other vehicles that have the same connector/computer, but adapters/updates are available for other vehicles.

I had great plans to dial my car in to the teeth, but my chronic back pain keeps me from even driving my car as much as I would like. I am now in a situation where I need money, and I have to let a few things go. Since I have had this tool for 2 years and all I have done is a preliminary scan, its time to see if I can sell it.

I am asking $100 for the tool, and I will cover the shipping to anywhere in the lower 48 states. If someone outside that area wants to buy it, I will still ship it, but you will have to pay actual shipping charges. You get everything in the picture (and a new AA batteries x4). It doesn't really have a model number. Its an Auto XRAY, EZ LINK Automotive Diagnostic System. It is Part Number 705-0001-002A. Within the device itself you can configure it to your specific year, and motor size. Here is a picture of the back side. Sorry for the poor quality.

Not familiar with car FI tuning... coming from the motorcycle world

 

this is not for tuning although the scanner can be used to datalog to obtain fuel trims for tuning this is not the tool for that.

 

The unit will not make any changes. It will only give readings. Make a change, take a reading, repeat till perfect.

Does it have a standard ALDL connector that I can use on my 1988 formula 350? Will it display things like TPS voltage, coolant temp and other sensor readings in real time?

 

The device connects to your OBDI (OBD1) with the ALDL CABLE. This listing comes with the GM connector that will fit any GM vehicle from 1982 to 1995.

You can read real-time data, or take a snapshot.

Coolant tem will read from -40 to +389
Throttle sensor voltage from 0 to 5 volts
