I got a pretty much ready-to-go LS1 front brake swap. Pulled all parts from a 99 Camaro. Rebuilt the calipers after I cleaned, polished and powder coated them red. Factory 89 Calipers were machined down to hub dimensions for hat-style LS1 rotor. Master cylinder, booster, just plumb it up and go. I can throw in the factory 89 knuckle that it's all bolted up to as well.

I have been out of this for so long, so to be honest I don't know what these swaps are going for anymore. I'm trying to pay off some bills from my new born daughter, so don't low ball me please! I don't have pics right now, but can get some in a couple of days if there;'s any interest.

I'm not parting it out, with the exception of the MS/booster whoever gets the spindles and all does not need it.

I will include SS lines with them as well

anyone got an idea how much a loaded knuckle weighs? if not I gotta pull it off the car first before I can give an accurate shipping quote

 

The whole setup is going to be pretty heavy. Id be willing to guess it will cost 50 dollars or there abouts to ship. Could be a bit more too.

Question for you: Who made the hubs? A local shop? How much material is left around the studs? Ive heard this is a common area to fail on the swap.

 

I turned the hubs myself at the shop I was working at years ago. Id be more than happy to take some pics/measurements once its off

 

Both spindles included? just making sure since a "knuckle" would be one.

weight of one loaded knuckle (spindle, machined down rotor, LS1 rotor, caliper, bracket, SS line) is right around 55 lbs. Ill get some shipping quotes out to yall sometime today or this evening if you send me your zip if you havent already. If need be, I can disassemble the knuckle and leave the spindle off which I'm sure will help with the weight and shipping savings if some of yall wanted to go that route
