i would say new very slight used no welds or rust or hacking done to it just clamp it to my y pipe to see if i like the tone for like 5 min max thats all never drove with it at all

only reason going to run different exhuast setup

 

I don't know anything about my 1989 2.8L Camaro - it was given to me recently so I've been fixing it up. Would that muffler fit a stock setup? Mine sounds like a cartoon burble

 

lol it would easiest way is to fit it where the I pipe is or where rear muffler is

 

Thanks, I was wondering if the 3" diameter was the stock pipe size. I've heard those mufflers sound great.

 

no its not just but a reducer from stock exhuast size to 3in then weld clamp or how ever you choose to mount take off rear muffler or how ever you like to run it

no i dont theres some on youtube put camaro powerstick but he has a 5.0 theres another one to taken at night IIRC

Are you running dual or single cats you can add a smaller one to quiet it down n take the rasp out

No cat. And, it's a summer weekend toy. For a daily, I'd do a Dynomax. I've had them before. Good on performance with a low/mild rumble.

 

it would quite down with a cat sounds good tho ima try borla xr1 with no cats also

im a bigger cheap skate also lol im on the ultimate budget build lol its how i support my hobby with out the wife getting too **** off or i just buy her some heels or take her out to dinner then ill make a big purchase lol but jority majority parts are used traded very few parts are bought new only stuff im buying new so far is lsx gasket set and ummm hold on let me think its been awhile ......and off course major wear items are bought new
brake rotors,hub, braket conversion bracket..

and other little things.. im doing engine build im my apartment room in a apartment complex ..

to date have completed a t56 swap and other major work.. one **** of landlord ..lol.. so yea.. military doesnt pay enough lol

and for being a cheapskate you firebird looks way more badass then mines
