C5-C6 front brake conversion brackets, and abuntment brackets
I got a set of C5 corvette front brakes and brackets from a friend who won't be using them on the project he just bought. I intend to use the C5 calipers on ls1 rotors, but the brackets that came with the calipers are for a c5-c6 rotor size. They are from engineered velocity, and are new, never used pieces. I have the instruction sheets with these as well. Couldn't find a receipt and their website is t working for me to check price. Instructions state " this kit allows GM Fbody (82-92) to install 97+corvette 12.8, 13.4, or 14 inch front braking systems
Engineered velocity part number 8292
70 bucks shipped within the 48

Re: C5-C6 front brake conversion brackets
I was just on the USPS website for shipping costs, and its way more expensive than I thought it would be to Canada. Cheapest I could get was 40 for a medium flatrate box. The small flatrate box only allows 4 pounds and they are just a hair over the max weight for a small flatrate.
It would be 100 to ship them to Canada, unless you know of a cheaper alternative. If you do, just let me know and I'll look into it.

Yes, a small flatrate box was 43 to the Netherlands, but with a 4 pound weight limit. These are slightly over 4 pounds boxed up. A medium flatrate was next cheapest option I found

Will they not fit in a padded envelope? Surely that would be cheaper.

Re: C5-C6 front brake conversion brackets
The padded envelopes are large enough, but also have the same 4 pound weight limit. The small scale at home says they are 4 pounds 3 ounces. I will bring them to work with me tomorrow and weigh them again(better more accurate scale.). If I can get them out in a bubble envelope under the 4 pound weight limit, it would only be 80 shipped to Canada, and 83 to the Netherlands.

Re: C5-C6 front brake conversion brackets
Something is out of whack with your price quotes. A small 4 lbs flat rate box only costs something like 25 bucks to the Netherlands. I get multiple boxes in a month (if not a week) and I never ever had to pay that kind of money for a small item. Same must be true for canada.

The issue is, these rackets are slightly OVER 4 pounds. If they were UNDER 4 pounds, you'd be spot on.

I am not trying to inflate shipping to make extra money, if you can find something cheaper where the 4 pound weight limit is not a issue, I am happy to do so. Above is the link where I am getting my quotes from.

Re: C5-C6 front brake conversion brackets
I weighed these at work, they are in fact just over 4 pounds.
I did find these brackets on eBay yesterday for 68 plus shipping, and I know ebmiller sells for 80, so I'll lower my price a bit.
60 shipped in us
90 shipped to Canada
110 shipped to Netherlands.
