thanks, so i gather the hub mating face to the rotor is a different thickness than on our 3rdgen hubs?

Third gens don't have a separate hub. It is cast integral with the rotor, so the hub/bearings/rotor/studs come as one unit if you replace factory with factory. Fourth gens have separate hubs & rotors, but those hubs won't fit third gen cars, thus the need to modify the third gen hub/rotor casting into a "hub only". This requires cutting the "rotor" portion off, leaving only the "hub" portion to be used in conjunction with the parts he is selling. Hope this helps.

Depends on what brakes you're going to use. I know C4 HD requires 1LE but from what I've read most others (including LS1) don't. Check lukeskaff.com for lots of great info including hub making. You can get hubs from flynbye.com
