I have a 400 SBC Long block for sale. Motor is bone stock other than the cam but I don't know the specs. It is currently in the car running but has a rod knock. I will be pulling the motor out over the weekend. I believe at some point the motor was rebuilt however I don't know the mileage. Motor does not smoke so you could just replace the crank, bearings and the bad rod and call it a day if you want.

I just might if it doesn't sell. Trying to save money for a super charger for my truck that is why I am selling it.

A lot of people are scared of the 400's, it might help if you tare it down and get the block checked . the heads are junk, unless someone just needs a stock replacement . if memory serves me correct, that is a 2 bolt block?

 

Block is std. bore. Stock dish pistons. Very clean inside. Pulled one head to check cylinder bores and see what pistons it had
