How are the seats? Any pics of the combustion chamber side?

To remove them from the engine, some of the valves had to be taken off, because of bolt placementOriginally Posted by chiz420

Angle or Straight plugs? 7/16th or 3/8th? Kicking these around. Wish they were small than 64cc but way better than stock.
Straight i think. I'll check 2morrow. Size wise I dont know these heads came on my first block so I am not to familar with them

how hard is it to flip the head over and take a few pics of the combustion chamber not the intake ports , you should not have had to taken anything apart to remove the head . were the valves bent , are the combustion chambers chewed up

I agree?? Why wasnt there pics from the beginning of the combustion chamber?? Ive never had to remove valve springs to get head bolts out.... and man, that gasket placement/intake man sure was restricting that motor. Holly cow!!! number 1 or 8 cyd valves, the faces are toast!! something bad happened to those heads....... although for 300...... not bad... feel like seller is hiding something..Originally Posted by 88Z350

I apologize for misreading my bad, the heads where on a motor b4 and had no issues. The reason the engine came out of the car was because my uncle over tightened a rocker and bend the push rod. When the engine was taken out of the car I took the heads of just to get some hands on experience since this was my first go around. The reason I am trying to sell them so cheap is because I know they will probably need a rebuild, and my trans just died in my 85. If your interested I would be glad to answer any questions about the heads. My cell # is 2679390124 prefer a text.

I am not sure the price is so "cheap". I do think you will sell them but possibly look up these heads brand new. There are options too with these heads so without running the numbers who knows....
