Hey there, I'm looking for a 21 tooth driven speedometer gear for my t5. It would have to have the metal shaft with the plastic gear at the end. It's for my 86 Camaro if you can help me please reply. Thanks Richie

Yea, I did checked out that site before and moderndriveline.com to see if they had the gear that I am looking for. They have every gear except the one I am looking for lol

If you have the part number you can check with this company.

They buy up all of GM's discontinued parts. You can type the part number in their loctor and it will tell you if they have it and how many they have.I brought a lot of the parts I used to restore my car from them.

Yea, I did that awhile ago. I work at a dealership and I had someone checked to see if any dealership has the speedometer gear in their inventory. He also called up a couple of transmission shops to see if they had any laying around but thanks for your help.

 

you need to make one like I did. i had the same problem as you. I even contacted a few t-5 rebuilding places thinking they might have one from a pull out.. no luck
