Exhaust manifolds needed
Exhaust manifolds needed
I am looking for a set of manifolds for my V8 swap in my s10. I am looking for manifolds from a 350 TBI (lo po) engine. I know its not very specific but maybe you guys could help. Please let me know if you have anything.
Thanks,
Tony

they're off a 350 but should work on any small block, they're headman headers

not sure im running shorties on mine but I put all new exhust in with it they fit fine
Re: Exhaust manifolds needed
Well I am going to use these in my s10 I am dropping a V8 in. Most guys use camaro manifolds because they fit pretty easy. SO I was thinking if the manifolds fit then maybe the headers will to.

Re: Exhaust manifolds needed
all the guys I now with 350 conversion s10's had no problem with headers no reason why you shouldn't
Re: Exhaust manifolds needed
Yeah I know I could buy headers made for the swap, but it doesnt bother most people to do a little hammering, I really want to avoid it if possible. I will probably go with manifolds for that reason. 15 hp wont kill me the crate engine makes 386 hp. Ill get a set of roller rockers to make up for it.
Re: Exhaust manifolds needed
i've got a set of manifolds off the 305 laying around. they are the better ones that came on the duel cat cars. i believe they are 2 1/4 in opening where the tbi and single cat cars were 2in.
the are heavy thou, so shipping may be alot these days.

Re: Exhaust manifolds needed
a good friend mine just got a pair of headers for his s-10 v-8 swap and they fit great with no beating things up. i think they are from sanderson headers. they mostly work with street rods but he fond them on e-bay for a good price.
