I need a used stock TPI intake for 87-89 engines.
I got a complete setup that came from a 86 Camaro but intake will not fit my heads since it is 87-later heads.

Hi there...I am looking only for the base intake manifold because all the rest of my parts will fit.

It is only the base intake that is difference from the years 85-89.
I need a intake with the cold start injector.
What is the casting number of this intake?..

 

You need a 87-88 base due to the fan switch mounted on the front of the base (3 holes). 89-92 do not have the fan switch hole and only have 2 holes on the front of the base.

87-88 base casting number is 10088015.

Make sure if you find one that the thermostat housing has been removed and the 2 bolt holes threads are good. The bolts will lock up or break and its a common problem.

I'm selling mine complete and I won't sell just the base.

You can modify the 4 center bolt holes on a 85-86 base to work on 87 and newer heads.

Due to my past experience with dave mc, make sure ALL the threads are good and he removes the thermostat housing.

I have one from an 87 gta..the 2 bolts broke off for the thermostat..but they can be drilled and tapped...I would take $30 plus shipping..

 

This intake looks very nice in condition, but isn't this for 89-92 models?
I mean, the cold start injector is not there?. If it has cold start injector and everything I would like this intake..

 

It has the threaded hole for the cold start switch. I will get some better pics tomorrow. Do you need the cold start switch itself?

 

I have the cold start switch, cause my old manifold was from 86 so everything except the center bolt holes on the intake is perfect.

The manifold looks great to me. And I have checked the casting number on it and it seems this manifold will fit the TPI cars from 87-88 with cold start injector?

And you are saying that this manifold is WITH cold start injector and then it is perfect to me.

You mean 79.90 in shipping to Norway?...Or you mean total of 79.50?
And you are now calculating the shipping to Norway?
