need a idle air control motor

Im looking for a GOOD used idle air control motor for my 91Z. ever since i had my shop install a new acdelco idle air, it hasnt acted just right. it wants to idle up and down when i start, so i thought i'd try a different one first to see if thats my problem. looking to spend under $20..prefer to use paypal

Re: need a idle air control motor

i got one, just bought one last week and does the same thing, my old one for $15 plus shipping.

BUT.....

my problem was carbon build up in the throttle body. i cleaned the crap out of mine and still had one piece causing my plates to stick and not close all the way. try cleaning your throttle body bores first then let me know,

Hey, i'll try that and see what happens. i know the one that was in it was bad cause it wouldnt idle at all...just died. so maybe it is carbon buildup...i'll clean it up today.

Just curious but why would u put a USED IAC or TPS sensor on ANYTHING? If its used ist not gonna perform as good as new. I wouldnt think. I could be wrong. Even if you bougt a NEW one most come with a lifetime warrenty.

Re: need a idle air control motor

I have a brand new IAC motor that I was going to install in my car when the idle sucked. Turned out to be the TPS. I still have the IAC. If you could get to Villa Park, $20 and it's yours. Let me know cause I also have another buyer. They are $45 brand new.
