Trade: Cable T-5 speedo for electric
I have a T-5 speedo that is cable that will not work in my 91 camaro. If anyone has an electric version, preferably the 90-92 version, I would be happy to trade with them if they need my cable version. I would like to get the entire set and will offer the same.
thanks
thanks

Re: Trade: Cable T-5 speedo for electric
I would be able to make that work I think. Really need to find a circuit for that.
I have my trans on the table and I'm trying to get it out but it's being a little stubborn. Going to take a picture of it and post it in hopes that someone can help me find another speed sensor that will work with my 91 electric setup.

Re: Trade: Cable T-5 speedo for electric
I still can't get mine out, anyone have any suggestions?
In the process of finding a new speed sensor online I think that I have found out that the back half of the housing is different between the cable speedo and the electric speedo. Can anyone confirm or challenge this?

I know on the 700r they can be stubburn, take tail housing off and lightly tap on the inside edge of the speed sensor, with screw driver alternating side to side. I broke mine today by trying to pry it out. By the way I know the 700r 85 and 90 tails are the same.

Well, I found Dakota Digital and their setup, so I'm just going to go with that. Going to cost me $122 more than I really wanted to spend, but at least I know that it will work.
