Bad luck at yards, Need driver side TBI metal fuel line.

So after realizing that Caprice TBI fuel lines are different and the Camaros at the yards were suddenly all TPI, I decided to see if someone on here can help me out or if they are willing to part with the line. The line I need is the driver side, so the line on the right if your looking at the motor from the front. The line is the one that plugs into the back of the Injector assembly and goes around the valve cover and under the alt. I only need the metal line and not the rubber hose itself.

I hate being cheap but I can pick these up for free or $5 from yards here if you have it laying around acting a throw stick let me know. Feel free to also send me a price if you can pull one for me.

Send pm or post here with price shipped to 60632, payment is paypal.

Thanks,
Carlos

Hi, I've got a spare set of those. I'll go grab them in the morning and see what size box I would need. .Just to be sure, you mean the one that screws into the driver side of the throttle body ? I can send a pic to be sure if you PM me with your email.

Yes sir, theres 2 that screw into the back of the throttle body, I don't know if they are the same but I need the driver side. It leads around the valve cover, under the alt and meets up with the rubber curved hose then to the back.

Email is Carlos312@Sbcglobal.net.

Let me know on price shipped to 60632, I am going to some yards tomorrow but I doubt they will be there but let me know.

They both screw into the back of the throttle body then go along the driver side valve cover, under the alternator and then screw into the twin rubber hoses that lead to the back. So I take it you want the fuel inlet line and not the outlet, correct?

Well I found it . It's bigger than I remembered. I'll have to find a box that will work. I assume you don't want me to bend it to go in a smaller box, and that you don't need the bracket that holds the lines together and attaches them to the engine?

I tried bending the ones I had and they were very fragile so probably not. I have both brackets here, well thats if you include the booster line if not yea I have the bracket that goes near the alt.

I think I found a box I can cut down to work. But with the size and weight of the box, the distance to you, original cost and all the driving around etc, I'm gonna have to charge you $25. If that's OK I'll email you my Paypal stuff. LMK

one is larger than the other one

TBI only runs 12 psi you can use regular fuel hose and hose clamps to patch in anything you need to with no worries at all.

i just cut and ruined two tonight on a vehicle we are junking, i was saving the TB unit i didnt care about the lines,
then i see this post here.

hmm interesting..

good luck

Re: Bad luck at yards, Need driver side TBI metal fuel line.

Got lucky and picked one up from a local yard on a newly yarded 90 RS. Even got it for free too, the guy at the counter almost laughed at me for wanting to pay for it and told me to have a nice day. Gotta love my fellow people.

Thanks though guys!
