Im using a 700r4 out of a 91 sub and the trans that was in my car was a 200r4 so it wont fit.. Or will it... Its the only thing stopping me from finishing my car that and the bracket for the torque bar. they stole my tool box and it had all that stuff in there

 

You could always just buy a transmission crossmember with the torque arm relocation bracket. The you can use a non f-body transmission.

You can try to find a 3rd gen f-body 700R4 transmission tailshaft & swap it onto your CK 700R4, but I don't know where you can find just the tailshaft. Transmission shop should know where to find just that piece of one.

 

Is there a cheaper cross member i can get. i can get it now but ill be broke till next pay check

 

i have the tail shaft, and i think the torqure are bracket is still attached
