WTB N10 dual cat exhaust for '92 Formula 5.7

I have a like new Hawks stainless y-pipe and low mileage 4th gen SS muffler and exhaust pipes complete that I am willing to trade for a nice N10 dual cat exhaust system. Or I will just buy your N10 exhaust outright. I do not need the exhaust manifolds. Please let me know what you have.

If you can't find an OE system, this might be a (pricey) alternative. http://www.ebay.com/itm/200490896633...WAX:IT&vxp=mtr

Good luck on the muffler/tailpipe assembly though. I found one, from of all people, Mike, the guy you sold your yellow IROC to.

Cool. So you're the "guy that came from up north" that Mike told me about last week? I happened to call him about being on the look out for an N10 exhaust and he told me you came down. Small world huh? Maybe one day all come across a nice system or someone will reproduce an accurate one.

I do have one here. I have not decided to use it or not yet. The issue is: I will not ship it! No way, no how not enough money to deal with it. It came off an 89 IROC and was going to use it but not factory for my car. I did not want it to be sold for scrap - now the question is: is the IROC dual cat N10 the same as the Birds?

Yeah, shipping it was going to be an issue. So, it just so happened that my wife's cousin was driving home from Florida, and would be going right past Mike's place, so he picked it up for me.

As far as I know, they are the same. Please don't scrap it. Someone around here will buy it. I would if I were closer, and I'm sure Jason would if he were closer.

Re: WTB N10 dual cat exhaust for '92 Formula 5.7

NO scraping it. I got it off an original car because the guy was junking the car (no title). Everything was decent on it and as long as it was on the lift to remove rear end, I told him I would buy the dual cats too....I am NOT going to scrap it, I might end up using it but if it is correct for someone else car and theirs is missing, then I would rather see an original car get it.

I have pictures of a NOS N10 with the correct decal codes on each of the cats. (both codes are different) I'm going to send the pix to Okfoz to see if he will set them up for decals.

I sure would. I'm not 100% sure if the '89's are the same as '90-'92, but I'm sure someone on here could confirm or deny. I seem to be able to locate them, but they are never within a reasonable driving distance and shipping would be impractical.

At this point, I would be willing to just find a nice set of N10 dual cats and work from there back. At least they could be shipped reasonably.

Still looking for an exhaust - at least a set of N10 dual cats - within driving distance of South Georgia......

I have the cats from a 89 GTA or a 91 Formula. I can't remember which car it came off of. The last time I checked the recycler was offering $80 a piece for them.

Soooo, are you still looking? Because I've been meaning to get rid of my N10's. Just let me know what you need.

YES I am still looking! I really need a complete N10 system, but at this point I will start with a good set of N10 cats and go from there. PM me with what you have and we can get together. I'm not too far from you.

As of now, I have a complete stainless Hawks 3" system on the car that I want to take off and put the N10 back on as stock.
