I Need Some 3.4 Heads....

Checked the local yards and all they have are V8 except one that is in such bad shape it makes me sick just looking at it. I know its a long shot but if anyone has or knows where to get some heads for me id be willing to pay for them plus shipping. My only other option is to wait until im done with school and while im home see if any yards there have what i need. Problem is that will cut into the time ill have to actually work on the car (and my van is packed with parts). lol

I've got a set of 3.4L V6 cylinder-heads that Dave (a.k.a. project89) ported and polished. I paid $300 for them. Not going to use them, anymore. Same price to you, shipped?

3.4 heads are the same as 3.1 heads and '86+ 2.8 heads.

Ported heads are completely different case though.

I'm going to move this to the BST section, because of the lack of tech information.

Re: I Need Some 3.4 Heads....

project89,

The Ecotec-swap is still ongoing. If all goes well in the next week or so, and no disasters strike, I should have the TKO-500 by the middle of April. Then, I can have some mounts fabbed up. After that, there's still plenty to do, but the parts become a lot cheaper. LOL!

Adrenaline1,

I don't think project89 is a shady guy, at all. LOL!

And here are some pics of the cylinder-heads:

There is a small chunk knocked off above an exhaust-port:

You shouldn't have an issue with exhaust leaks, though. There is still plenty of sealing surface around the exhaust-port, and the threads for the exhaust-manifold bolt are still good.

Like I messaged you, I'll consider them yours till the end of April, and there's no one else interested in buying them.
