Found! WTB: LT4 Hot Cam

Like the title says, Id like to find a good used LT4 Hot Cam. Just doing a mild build, and am running short of funds. Cant afford $300 for a cam. But, if you have a used one that wasnt quite big enough for you, Id sure like to take it off your hands.

EDIT:OK! Got a cam coming, thanks for looking.

Re: WTB: LT4 Hot Cam

Lunati is blowing out their version of the lt4 hot cam.
I just picked one up for $70 plus shipping.
This is the cam: http://www.lunatipower.com/Product.aspx?id=2607
This is the cam card: http://www.lunatipower.com/CamSpecCa...rtNumber=10030
This is the link for their overstock list: http://www.lunatipower.com/News.aspx?id=109

The cam also has a lobe for a fuel pump if you need it.

The specs are basically identical.
*edit*

Lunati:
IVO - 1
IVC - 37
EVC - -2
EVO - 50
List with 1.5 rockers .503 intake and exhaust
112° Lobe Centerline

Lt4 hot cam:
IVO = 0.3
IVC = 38.8
EVO = 49.1
EVC = -0.2
Lift with 1.5 rockers .492 intake and exhaust
112° Lobe Centerline

Re: WTB: LT4 Hot Cam

Looking at the specs, it appears the Lunati cam doesn't have as much lift.....actually, it has more. .503 with 1.5 rockers.

Re: WTB: LT4 Hot Cam

Sorry, I guess I'm a little gun shy. I once was talked out of a Comp cam in favor of a Howard's cam that 'Had the same specs'. I fought that cam for years......

Re: WTB: LT4 Hot Cam

If the Lunati really is comparable, I'll jump on it. But I'd really like to hear from someone who has used it.

Re: WTB: LT4 Hot Cam

I had it backwards. The hot cam has .492 lift. So, am I going to run into problems with the LT4 springs I'm already running? The Lunati cam has .503 lift and that's with 1.5 rockers....I'm running 1.6s....

It would work out to around .535 lift.
I'm running beehive springs and comp retainers so I can't help with the specs of the hotcam recommend springs.

Give Lunati a call and talk to their reps. They seem to be helpful without trying to sell you something you dont need. They said I'd be okay with the beehives even though they have a lower open pressure then the springs recommended with their cam.

Or........ Just buy TTOP350's and don't worry about it.
